FORMER England hockey star Sean Kerly has been awarded an honorary doctorate by Middlesex University.
The Olympic gold medallist played for Southgate Hockey Club in the English league for several seasons.
He picks up his award at a graduation ceremony at Wembley Conference Centre on Wednesday, July 19.
