GURU Nanak FC, of Kent County Division Three West, continued their bad away form as they slumped to a 4-1 defeat against Tonbridge Invicta.

Two defensive errors in the first half by Jug Sian were the main contributory facgtor for the defeat, as was a controversial sending off.

The Gurus had taken the lead through a Jess Gill header from a pinpoint cross by Ricky Gosal.

But they fell apart after those mistakes at the back.

Guru Nanak Sunday team in the North Kent Sunday Premier League stayed in firm position for league honours by winning 2-1 against Old Comrades.

After conceding a goal early on, Nanak skipper Singh held off a defender to smash in the equaliser.

In the second half, the Gurus were guilty of missing chance after chance.

Sub Sunny Manik and Harpreet Mudahar then both went close on several times until Jess Gill finally latched onto a through ball to squeeze in the winner with 10 minutes of the game remaining.

The Gurus now lie third in the table with three games in hand over the leaders, who are only four points ahead.

Elsewhere, Gurus' under-12s won 3-0 against Cobham in 1st round Supplementary Cup with goals from Pardip Singh, Charlie Graham and Simon Sahot.
