IW undone by Jem

Jem Warner.

A DORSET bowler produced a remarkable spell against the IW last week — taking seven wickets for just one run.

Jem Warner, a leg-spinner, recorded the astounding figure in just four overs (22 deliveries) to seal victory for Dorset Under-17s against IWCB Under-17s, who were bowled out for 63.

Earlier in the match Dorset had scored 345-7 declared, with Warner, 17, scoring 68, including 13 boundaries.

The last bowler to achieve similar figures was West Indian Curtly Ambrose, who took 7-1 off 32 balls in Perth in 1992, with total figures for the innings of 7-25.
