SWIMMING SWIMMERS aged from 19 to 85 took part in the IW Marlins international open meet at Medina Leisure Centre last weekend, with the host club coming close to taking the overall team title.
A total of 93 swimmers from 29 clubs — including the Brazilian Swimming Federation and German club SSG Neptun-Germering — took part in the event, which featured races over a variety of distances and all four disciplines; freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke and backstroke, as well as medley relays.
