TONY COMERFORD was voted Bishop's Stortford FC's Supporters Player of the Year in a special ceremony at Woodside Park on Saturday night.

The Blues skipper took 49 per cent of the vote, with Graeme Paxton second and Justin Bowen third.

The KLM UK award went to Bowen with Tim Langer the Young Player of the Year. The reserves award went to Danny Wolf.

In the youth categories, the players' vote was won by Bradley Bissett while the manager's choice was Darren Kempton.

The Chairman's Cup for outstanding voluntary work was shared by physios Brian Curtis and Peter Fox.

The Football Association and the Herts FA both presented mementoes to the club to mark Stortford's 125-year anniversary.

Meanwhile, the youth team has failed to win the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League after a 1-1 draw with Hitchin.
