AROUND 100 members of staff from IW NHS Trust took to the netball courts on Saturday to play in a new inter-departmental competition.

Men, women and children featured in the ten teams who entered.

Organised by keen netballers, occupational therapist Tina Scovell and administrator Carol O’Brien, the teams were split into two sections and the winners of each section played off for the trophy.

The nearly all-male mental health team took on the ambulance team in a fast and competitive final, which was eventually won by mental health.

O’Brien said: “This was one of the best days of netball I have had the pleasure to be part of.”
