Old Hendon CC are celebrating their 90th anniversary with a special family fun-day at Sunny Hill Park on Sunday.

But they didn't have much to smile about on Saturday, when skittled out for 60 (Williams 4-16) by Christ's College, who had totalled 139 (Hussain 59, Jeff King 4-33, Promod Lakhtaria 3-14.) . It was only their second defeat of the season.

Virral Bhavsar (5-32) returned his best figures of the season as Indian Gymkhana were all out for 134 (Nikil 47, Myers 3-15) at Osterley on Sunday.

Old Hendon looked doomed at 69-5. Then an inspired stand between Mike Heavey (42 no) and Bhavsar (25) was ended with one ball to go and three needed. Heavey just failed and the scores ended level on 134.
