OLYMPICS
SWIMMER Mark Alchin played his part in the Olympic Games today (Tuesday).
Mark, who has been a regular member of the Isle of Wight swimming squad for the Island Games, was a part of the victory ceremony party for the three-day eventing equestrian competition, where Team GB won their second silver of the London 2012 games.
He carried the medals, which were presented by Princess Anne, whose daughter Zara Phillips is part of the equestrian team.
