Northwood Cricket Club have enjoyed a successful year away from the cricket pitch, with trophies picked up on both the pool table and dartboard.
Their darts team followed up their first ever double last season by retaining both their league and cup trophies.
Captain Myles Farrington finished with the league’s highest checkout of the season (153), before he won the league doubles competition with Dave Witcomb, and the trebles with Shaun Kellett and Chris Langdon.
The team also raised over £200 for M&M toddlers, a local charity group in Cowes, with the team presenting the volunteers with the money and some toys towards the end of the season.
The club’s pool team also won their league for the first time in over 15 seasons as they claimed the Cowes & District Division 1 title by fourteen points.
Captain Ashley Goldsmith was crowned as the league’s most consistent player, winning 30 of his 32 games, with Kerry Rice finishing second in the standings with 27 victories.
