Rhiannon makes a splash for swim team

SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING THE Isle of Wight’s synchronised swimming star Rhiannon Williams is to give a rare insight into her sport on Sunday, to raise funds for the Isle of Wight Swim Team’s trip to next year’s NatWest Island Games in Bermuda.

Rhiannon, of Carisbrooke, has been swimming from an early age, and is a real prospect for Team GB for the Rio 2016 Olympics, after recently winning the duet, with partner Sophie Usher, and solo British Championship titles.

She will be performing a special routine, alongside Sophie and her other teammates from Reading Royals at the Waterside Pool on Sunday at 5pm.

Afterwards, the girls will host a taster session, to try to inspire the next generation of synchronised swimmers.
