Quins went down to the heaviest league defeat in their history at Bath, 77-19, in a game in which no fewer than eight of the home side's players scored.
London Irish were beaten 41-27 at the Stoop, against a Saracens side which had beaten Quins 50-10 the previous week.
This weekend Quins, in the throws of restructuring before next year, may find their latest unwelcome record under threat as they travel to Leicester to face the champions elect.
London Irish, meanwhile, head west to face Bristol on Wednesday evening, a team, like Bath, enjoying a resurgence.
