THE newly-named Wight Wolves women’s rugby team enjoyed their second Inner Warrior event on Sunday.
An afternoon of coaching and team building activities was held by England Rugby community coach Josh Barlow and assistant Nikki Buckingham at Wootton Recreation Ground on Sunday.
Abby Lines was among the players who took part.
She said: “We had a excellent session, building our knowledge of the game with lots of sunshine and laughter.
“We were really pleased with a good turnout and hope events like this continue to build the interest for women’s and girls rugby on the Island.”
The team hope to enter various touch tournaments this year.
