They may be sweating on their Ryman Premier future, but when it comes to charity Carshalton are head and shoulders above the rest.

Last Sunday, the Robins played local side Southeast Sportif FC to help raise money for Great Ormond Street children's hospital.

The Robins won 3-0 with goals from Terry Bowyer, Gary Clarke and Steve Fyinn.

A bar and raffle after the game raised nearly £300 for the cause, much to the delight of Robins' boss Gary Bowyer.

He said: "It was a great day, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed and I hope we can do it again next year."
