BROMLEY'S Citizens' Advice Bureau (CAB) will highlight the work of volunteers during Advice Week 2001 in a bid to attract new recruits.
The recruitment drive comes after the United Nations declared 2001 the International Year of Volunteers, providing the opportunity for organisations to promote and celebrate volunteering.
Bromley CAB manager Ann Kinahan said: "The challenge and variety we offer and its ability to improve job prospects are big attractions. Volunteering offers a chance to develop skills, knowledge and confidence."
Bromley CAB holds its introductory morning at 11am on September 12. Call 020 8315 1943.
