PARISHIONERS turned their thoughts to resolving conflict throughout the world as part of Women's World Day of Prayer on Friday last week.
The international event, held at Hayes Methodist Church in Station Road, was organised by Christians Together in Hayes and Harlington and was called 'Challenged to Reconcile'.
Christian Women of Romania prepared the sermon and visitors were invited to try one of their customs, dipping a piece of bread into a bowl of salt as they entered church.
