Wightlink Warriors 12 Cradley Heathens 17 – Match Abandoned

LAST night's (Thursday) speedway action was cut short due to bad weather.
The Island's Wightlink Warriors were 12-17 down to Cradley Heathens when conditions became too difficult to continue.
Warrior Ben Wilson suffered a wrist injury during a clash with Cradley's Danny Ayres in heat one.
A new date for the match has yet to be agreed with the Midlands club.
The Warriors next contest will be Swindon away, next Thursday, in the National Trophy.
Then its away league matches against Buxton and Birmingham, before a return to the Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium on June 1, to face the Plymouth Devils in the National Trophy.
