The number of councillors and the shape of council wards may change in Haringey following a review of electoral arrangements in the borough.

The review by the Local Government Commission for England is being carried out to ensure that all local people are fairly and equally represented on the council.

Officials will check that the number of electors represented by a single councillor in a ward is as equal a possible.

If there are imbalances, it can recommend that ward boundaries, and number of wards and councillors, should change.
