A BIZARRE red card meant Newport FC had to play the second half of their match against Totton and Eling last night (Wednesday) with ten men.
Saturday's goalscoring hero, Alex Przepolewski, was sent off for unsporting conduct before the referee had blown the whistle to start the second half of the Isle of Wight side’s second Sydenhams Wessex League, Premier Division match of the season.
However Port hung on to finish the match 0-0 and remain unbeaten.
They travel to New Milton on Saturday in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup.
