The International Centre for Inquiring Children (ICIC) is currently based at Chace Community School in Churchbury Lane.

But the school needs more room and ICIC must move out by this summer.

Last year the Independent backed a successful campaign for the nursery to be allowed to stay at the school until the summer to give it time to find a new home.

Set up in 1994, ICIC provides daily pre-school classes for two-and-a-half to four-year-olds, and a Saturday learning enrichment class for four to 12-year-olds.

It uses revolutionary educational techniques to encourage creativity and love for learning and build individuality and self-esteem.

Parent Hayley Byrne said: "There's really nothing quite like this nursery anywhere else in the country. It's such a valuable resource for children and it must be kept going."

On Friday Enfield North MP Joan Ryan, who took up ICIC's case last year, visited the nursery.

ICIC needs a fairly small commercial building. Rental or purchase will be considered.
