Third division Cannon B new they were in for a tough time when they were drawn against second division Sporting Fasula, and they were right!.
Cannon B took the lead through a great header from Barry Neale after a fine cross by Greg Hall. Gareth Bond Vaughan added the second. But Fasula quickly replied and started to put Cannon B under pressure and equalised just before half time.
Into extra time the picture completely changed, Cannon B took control with further goals from man of the match Stuart Brumwell (2) and Greg Hall giving Cannon B a 5-2 lead.
Fasula pulled a late goal back but the game was Cannon B's.
Manager Mo Silverman said: "We took the game to them and played some wonderful football today, all our hard training has paid off, it was an excellent victory."
