THE Paperchain Partnership will be celebrating its tenth anniversary in style with a get-together on March 1 for present and past employees.

It will be a dual celebration for the company, which will not only mark its success commercially, but its fundraising efforts for Scannappeal.

Liz Helling, one of the four founding partners of the Paperchain Partnership and a trustee for Scannappeal, said: "Although we started the business whilst the economy was still in the last grips of recession, we knew that we had something special to offer.

"I am pleased to say that our work for the local Scannappeal has enabled us to do something that is of real benefit for the local area and has allowed us to put something back into the community."

The partnership in Kings Road, High Wycombe, which had a turnover of around £1.2 million in 2001, and has 11 staff, was set up by Liz and Peter Helling, Graham Hodson and Rick Kirk to supply everything for the office from printed stationery to promotional goods. William and Charlie, Liz's labradors, come to the office with her every day, and have become very much part of the company.

Paperchain began collecting empty toner cartridges from local companies to raise money for Scannappeal six years ago. The partnership has now raised more than £80,000.

Liz is now looking to the future. She said: "All in all I can honesty say that the last ten years have been both satisfying and gratifying on a business and personal level and we are in a strong position to move the business forward for the next ten years and beyond."
