AN INTERNET-friendly robot put in an appearance at the launch of new computer services in Bromley.
Mimbo the robot was at Bromley Central Library, High Street, for the official opening of a new internet exchange.
The facility will offer low-cost internet access, hire of word-processing facilities and government-subsidised IT training.
Councillor Joan Wykes OBE, chairman of Bromley Council's leisure and community services committee, said: “This is an excellent partnership.
“Library users can now receive a significant level of support when using equipment and learning materials.”
