ILLNESS took its toll on Orion at the South of England Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill, but the Chingford club still performed well.
A notable run came from Lee Bailey, who finished 19th in a field of 229 in the boys under-15 race. Stuart Baker came 181st while Brian Harrison was 207th.
In the under-13 girls race, Orion were ranked 18th. Keeley Jeffery came 87th, Camilla Mussington 133rd, Lauren Richardson 151st and Katie North 156th. In the under-17 boys, James Young finished 34th and Ryan Davies 68th. Martin Clarke came in 42nd in the men's race.
