ENERGETIC pupils in West Wickham puffed through a strenuous aerobics workout to raise more than £2,000 during World Leprosy Week.

Pupils from Pickhurst Junior School, Pickhurst Lane, raised the money for the British Leprosy Relief Association which will enable 95 people to be cured of leprosy.

Instructor Chris Harmer led pupils through a series of workouts, exercising their way to good health while helping others.

Community fundraiser Susanna Shelton explained leprosy is curable but still exists in countries such as India, Brazil and parts of Africa.
