THE views of children and young people in Harlow are being used to help the government develop children's policies.
The government's Children and Young People's unit asked Harlow Council to organise a workshop for children with disabilities to find out what they would like to see done in the future.
The workshop used creative activities and books to help the children put their opinions across.
Assistant council leader Derek Fenny said: "We're more than happy to help the government with its consultation exercise. The reason the government's unit approached us was because of our good work with children with disabilities. We're really pleased they have recognised this."
