People interested in taking a further education course to help them with their career are invited to an open day at Oaklands College's Borehamwood campus next week.
The college runs courses including business management, computing and IT, construction, engineering and media, land-based industries and performing arts.
The courses can be studied full-time, part-time or in the evening at the college's four campuses, in Borehamwood, St Albans and Welwyn Garden City.
Staff will be available to offer advice at Borehamwood's open day, at the campus in Elstree Way, on Tuesday, between 4pm and 8pm.
Oaklands College currently has places available for a free course which teaches a range of skills which could assist people who are seeking employment.
The Millennium Team Challenge Adventure, for 16 to 29-year-olds, focuses on skills such as team-work, communication and leadership. The 11-week course, which includes video-making and magazine production, starts on February 18. For information contact Sally-Ann Williams on 01727 737 500.
