ARRON Lennon faces an anxious wait to see if his five goals for AFC Disraeli against the Rose and Crown will be allowed.

Lennon bagged all five of Disraeli's goals in their Division Five match before it was abandoned with 18 minutes left when Simon Redhead was taken to hospital with suspected damage to blood vessels in his leg.

The Combination committee will now have to decide whether the 5-1 result stands.

Elsewhere, the match of the day ended with Italia Unita beating reigning champions Plough Inn at the top of the Premier Division.

Goals by Gary Blake and Rino Sepede helped move Italia into top spot with their 2-0 victory.

FC Beaconsfield are third after a 2-0 win against Lane End S & SC with Andrew Humphrey getting both strikes.

Widmer End eased their relegation worries a little with a 6-1 win over fellow strugglers Hithercroft, thanks to goals from Mark Owen (two), Neil Bellamy (two) and Lee Sturgeon (two).

Wycombe Town moved closer to the Division One title having got a 6-1 success against third-placed FC Beaconsfield Reserves with strikes from Andy Young (two), Franco Monello (two), Ross Middleton and skipper Guy Walters. Gosnel James replied for Becky.

An Andy Walsh goal looked to have won King George V the points against Italia Unita Reserves but Richard Hawes equalised late on to make it 1-1, while goals from Clive Gale and Simon Quilter earned Priority Insurance Dynamoes a 2-1 win over Wycombe Marsh RBL.

A four-goal blitz by James Gayton helped Barn Club strengthen their grip at the top of Division Two. James Killick was also twice on target in the 6-0 win over Longwick Sports.

But Neil Walker and Gareth Thatcher strikes were not enough to prevent King George V Reserves going down 3-2 at AFC Lacey Green 2000.

In Division Three, Ercol 2000 improved their survival chances with a 3-2 win over Eurotec United with goals from Matt Weatherstone (two) and Kendall Samuell.

In Division Four, Tony Graham bagged a hat-trick as Wendover Arms beat FC Leisure 3-1. Dolphin got thrashed 9-0 by Priority Insurance Reserves and Hazlemere beat Bird in Hand 7-1.

Wycombe Town Reserves suffered their first defeat of the season in Division Five going down 3-2 to second-placed Busbys Reserves thanks to strikes from Richard Smith, Mike Morgan and Matt Shepherd.

Robert Ashcroft's hat-trick could not stop Biffa losing 9-3 at Plough Inn Reserves, while Finn McCouls beat Carpenters Arms 3-2.

The Challenge Cup semi-final line-up sees Busbys play FC Beaconsfield and Plough take on Beaconsfield Arms after Becky beat Hand & Flowers 7-3.
