A COUPLE who met while working at the same school, Wayne Edward Bower and Lorraine May Yeoman, were married at the Ryde Castle Hotel.
The bridegroom, a school caretaker, is the son of Jean Francis Gibson-Moore, of Whites Mead, Lake, and the late Mr Brian Edward Beard.
The bride, a teacher, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Keith Innis Edwin Bargery, of St George’s Drive, Carpenders Park, Watford.
The bride wore a lace dress with a subtle, champagne under-layer and carried a bouquet of white roses and gerberas.
She was attended by Nicole Emma Yeoman, 11, and Isla Alicia Yeoman, six, (bride’s daughters).
Nicole wore a light blue chiffon floor-length dress, tied at the neck and carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet. Isla wore a cream lace dress with a light blue ribbon tied at the waist. She carried a small basket of rose petals.
Oliver Brian Edward Bower, one (couple’s son) acted as page boy. He wore grey trousers, a white shirt, a light blue waistcoat and a tie.
The best men were Jake and Arron Bower (bridegroom’s sons).
Registrar Nina Parr officiated.
A reception was held at Ryde Castle Hotel.
