THE FAMILY of bridegroom Clark Douglas Bowerman travelled from South Africa to attend his wedding at All Saints’ Church, Ryde, when he married Charlotte Kate Flack.
The bridegroom, an asbestos removal supervisor, is the son of Mr Dave Bowerman, of Maids Mor-ton, Buckinghamshire, and the late Mrs Joan Bowerman.
The bride, a children’s shoes assistant buyer, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Richard Flack, of Newbarn Road, East Cowes.
The bride wore a dress with an ivory French lace strapless bodice with matching bolero and full silk skirt, matching silk sash and organza flower detail. She wore a headdress of organza flowers and carried a bouquet of pink roses and peonies with eucalyptus bound with French lace.
She was attended by Sarah Ludlow and Catherine Ford, who wore champagne raw silk knee-length strapless dresses and carried bouquets of pink roses and peonies bound in navy ribbon.
Also in attendance was four-year-old Josephine Flack (bride’s cousin), who wore an ivory organza silk dress with matching sash and carried a single rose wand bound in navy ribbon.
South African Matt Fordham was best man and ushers were Murray Smith (bridegroom’s cousin) and Marc Jourdan (bride’s cousin).
Father Jonathan Redvers Harris officiated.
A reception was held at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, Cowes, followed by a honeymoon in Bali.
