A BRIDE was walked down the aisle by her young son at her wedding at Lichfield Guildhall.
Lyndsay Jane Jennings was given away by her nine-year-old son, Charlie George Raggett, when she married Mark Robert Bruce.
The couple first met in Cowes through the groom’s former job as a manager at an estate agents.
The bridegroom, a director with JKM Property Solutions, is the son of Mrs Kath Bruce, of Newport Road, Cowes, and the late Mr Kenneth Bruce.
The bride, a conveyance assistant, is the daughter of Mrs Gillian Ann Monardi, of Thornbrook, Sandbach, Cheshire.
The bride wore an ivory dress with the bodice embroidery fitted to the waist and an embroidered three-foot train.
She had a veil with crystal teardrops on the scalloped edges, which was pinned to the back of her hair, and also wore a tiara.

She carried a bouquet of cream and lilac roses, which were tied with an ivory satin ribbon.
She was attended by Nicola Jane Jennings and Luisa Fredericka Monardi (bride’s sisters), who each wore a custom-made Cadbury-purple strapless dress with an ivory satin shawl and each carried a bouquet of lillies and roses.
She was also attended by Lily-Mae Rose Bruce (couple’s daughter), who wore a custom-made ivory-embroidered matching dress to match the bride’s, without the train, and carried a basket of rose petals.
Alfie Sonny Bruce (couple’s son) was pageboy. He wore a grey suit and silver waistcoat, which matched the bridegroom’s, and a purple cravat.
Kenneth Bruce (bridegroom’s brother) was best man and Michael Bruce and Kenny Bruce (bridegroom’s nephews) acted as ushers.
A reception was held at The English House, Lichfield, followed by a honeymoon in Paris and later in Ireland.
