A COUPLE who met while they were studying at university in Winchester, Mark Alexander Buffone and Amy Louise Spanner, were married the Lakeside Park Hotel, Wootton.
The bridegroom, a civil service manager, is the son of Mr and Mrs Duilio Buffone, of St John’s, Woking. The bride, a forensic intelligence officer, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Andrew Spanner, of The Glade, Wroxall.
The bride wore an ivory A-line organza dress with a crystal-encrusted waistband and corsage, with a crystal embellished headband, and she carried a bouquet of cerise pink roses and cala lillies.
She was attended by Nichola Spanner (bride’s sister), Andrea Lucas (bridegroom’s sister), Lauren Buffone (bridegroom’s sister), Christina Buffone (bridegroom’s sister) Sarah Knight and Laura Reid and they all wore sapphire blue dresses, and carried bouquets of cerise roses and carnations.
James Maunsell and Nick Ball were best men, and Paul Spanner (bride’s brother), Paul Norris, Dave Warner, Jon Lucas, Sean Comer, Matt New and Fraser Innes acted as ushers.
A reception was held at the Lakeside Park Hotel, followed by a honeymoon to California.
The couple will live in Woking.
