A ROMANTIC honeymoon in Venice followed the wedding of Matthew Cain and Rebecca Reed at Holy Cross Church, Binstead.
The bridegroom, an IT manager, is the son of Mr Brian Cain, of St John’s Road, Lincoln, and Mrs Carol Cain, of Vigo Close, Lincoln.
The bride, a teacher, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Reed, of Pellhurst Road, Ryde.
The bride wore an ivory satin dress with black lace and tulle detail and a pearl finish, with a full-length veil. She held a bouquet of red roses and bear grass loops.
She was attended by Katy Reed (bride’s sister), Rachel Cain (bridegroom’s sister), Sally Barclay and Lucy Newman Smith, who all wore black evening gowns with a diamante clasp. They all held a red rose with bear grass strands attached.
Pageboy Bradley Salmon (bride’s godson and cousin), wore a charcoal grey suit with blue waistcoat.
Francis Banks was best man and David Hayward and Todd Nash acted as ushers.
The Rev Christopher Etherton officiated.
A reception followed at the IW Steam Railway, Havenstreet.
