Simon Clark and Sarah Jackson.
A COUPLE who met in Ryde 15 years ago and still live in the town, Simon Clark and Sarah Jackson, were married at the Rabate Chapel, Pilar de Horadada, Spain.
The bridegroom, managing director of a marine services company, is the son of Mr and Mrs Michael Clark, of Summerfields Road, Hemsby, Norfolk.
The bride, an education casework officer, wore a full-length, off-the-shoulder gown with a fish-tail lace train and a lace off-the-shoulder bolero.
She had a cathedral-length veil which was encrusted with diamante crystals and carried a cascade bouquet of dusky pink roses and lavender.
She was attended by Penny Jackson (bride’s sister) and Laura Pennells, who both wore matching pale pink full-length dresses and carried bouquets of dusky pink roses and lilies.
Other attendants were Libby Clark, ten, and Tallulah Clark, eight, (bridegroom’s nieces), who both wore matching dusky pink dresses and carried bouquets of dusky pink roses and lillies
Flower girl Lilly Street wore a white dress with dusky pink roses inside the flowering hemline. She carried a basket of rose petals, which she scattered up the aisle.
Beau Clark, eight, (bridegroom’s nephew) acted as page boy and wore grey striped trousers, a cream waistcoat and tie and carried the couple’s rings up the aisle.
Charlie Clark and Tommy Jackson (bridegroom’s sons) acted as best men.
The Rev Eddie Martens officiated. A reception was held at the Rabate Restaurant, near Pilar de Horadada.
A honeymoon will take place in December in Thailand and Queensland, where the couple will visit Frazer Island and the Great Barrier Reef.
