A COUPLE will change their surname to Valentine following their romantic ceremony held on Valentine’s Day.
Hotel worker and ice hockey player Lisa Collingwood and dance teacher Leighanne Estcourt became civil partners in a ceremony at the IW Register Office.
Registrar Jan Phillimore officiated at a private ceremony attended by Lisa’s mother, Mrs Lyn Collingwood, from Brading, and Leighanne’s mother, Mrs Sue Robertson, from Newport. They were the witnesses and only guests at the ceremony.
Both Lisa and Leighanne wore red dresses and walked into the wedding room to Breathing, their favourite track by Jason Derulo.
The couple enjoyed time together at Ryde’s Appley Beach and Appley Park after the ceremony.
