VINTAGE Riley and Vauxhall cars and a guest from Australia featured at the wedding of Lee Copeland and Helen Morris at St Mary’s Church, Brighstone.
The bridegroom, a managing director, is the son of Mr and Mrs John Copeland, of Mayfield Drive, Newport. The bride, a showroom and project manager, is the daughter of Mrs Ann Morris, of Sirenia Close, Brighstone.
The bride wore an ivory chiffon full-length gown with simple diamante embellishment and an elbow-length ribbon-edged veil with a vintage headband. She carried a bouquet of lilies, ranunculus and grasses.
Bridesmaids were Debbie Morris (bride’s sister), Melissa Jackson and Ellen Fernandez, who wore bespoke full-length dresses in ocean blue, and Lily Copeland, seven, (bridegroom’s niece), who wore an ivory dress with ocean blue flower detail. All carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Henry Copeland, eight, (bridegroom’s nephew) was page boy. He wore grey tails and an ocean blue cravat with a ranunculus buttonhole. Ryan Copeland (bridegroom’s brother) was best man and Kevin Davies, Robin Jordan and John Sedgeley were ushers.
The bride was given away by lifelong family friend Sean Adams.
The Rev Laura Humphrys officiated.
A reception was held at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, followed by a honeymoon in Reykjavik in Iceland.
