CHAD Cracknell and Lianna Carlin, whose two sons were born prematurely, asked for donations to the Barely Born Appeal instead of wedding gifts when they were married at the Church of the Holy Cross, Binstead.
The bridegroom, a sales manager at IBM, is the son of Mr and Mrs John Cracknell, of Aldershot, Hampshire.
The bride, a special needs teacher at St George’s School, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Anthony Carlin, of Bucklers Drive, Ryde.
The bride wore a cappuccino halter-neck dress, with tulle and pearl detail, and a silver head-piece decorated with diamante and mother-of-pearl. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory and cappuccino roses, sunflowers and pearls.
She was attended by Lauren White and Paris McCann (bridegroom’s niece), six, who wore ivory dresses and carried bouquets of ivory roses and sunflowers.
The page boys were six-year-old Finley and 15-month-old Austin Cracknell (couple’s sons), and James Carlin (bride’s nephew), five, who wore black suits with ivory waistcoats and cravats.
The best man was Daniel Carlin (bride’s brother), and the ushers were Jonathan Fairhurst and Kevin Fitzgerald.
The Rev Anne Fawkner officiated.
Following a reception at Albert Cottage, East Cowes, where guests were served Calbourne Classics ice cream and entertainment was provided by singer Derek Sandy, the couple enjoyed a honeymoon cruise in the Mediterranean, on board the Disney Magic cruise liner.
