A COUPLE who met over a tomato plant in a seven-acre greenhouse 11 years ago, Ben Creaser and Alessandra Moore, were married at St Edmund’s Church, Wootton.
The bridegroom, a senior product development technician at Gurit, is the son of Mr John Creaser, of Binstead, and Ms Maggie Davis, of Bembridge.
The bride, a sales assistant at Sainsbury’s, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Moore, of Gloucester.
The bride wore a strapless ivory dress and a diamante veil, secured by a silver and pearl comb. She carried a bouquet of ivory and orange silk roses.
She was attended by Sarah Powell, Ruth Griffiths and Michala Beckerleg, who wore strapless orange dresses and carried ivory rose bouquets. Accompanying them were Sadie Creaser (couple’s daughter), who wore an ivory sleeveless dress with lace underskirt and orange sash.
Jake Creaser (couple’s son) was pageboy and wore tails with a silver cravat and a waistcoat with dragon detailing.
Joe Creaser (bridegroom’s brother) was best man and John Kirby and James Kirby acted as ushers.
The Rev Kath Abbott officiated.
A reception was held at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, Fishbourne, followed by a honeymoon in Zante.
