FRIENDSHIP turned to love for Tom Davies and Kirstine Moody, who were married at St Saviour’s Church on the Cliff, Shanklin.
The bridegroom, a night worker, is the son of Mr Paul Davies, of Simeon Street, Ryde, and Mrs Sally Renshaw, of Moorview Road, Widegates, Cornwall.
The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs David Moody, of Newport Road, Lake.
The bride wore an ivory, one shoulder dress, made by her mother, which had a beaded bodice and train, complemented with a pale blue underskirt showing on one side.
She carried a bouquet of silk flowers in blue with an ivory prayer book.
The bride was attended by Hannah Hill (bridegroom’s sister), Chynna Taylor and Athena Taylor (bride’s nieces), who wore pale blue satin dresses with butterfly detail, plus Baylee Haywood (bride’s niece) and Krystal Joy (bride’s daughter), who wore kingfisher blue princess dresses.
Jon Page was best man and Jared Taylor and Kynan Taylor (bride’s nephews) acted as ushers.
The Rev John Davies officiated.
A reception followed at Ryde Castle Hotel and the couple, who were friends for years before they got married, plan to go on honeymoon at later.
