THE wedding of police constable Stuart Aaron D’Costa and actress and singer Kellie Katrina Loe proved a vintage affair.
Lace bunting was made by the bride and groom, candelabras were draped with pearls, high tea was served in mismatched vintage crockery, there were classic tunes from the Twenties to the Forties and Medina Marching Band paraded on the Landguard Manor lawn.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr Paul D’Costa, of Wootton, and Mrs Lynda Hutson, of Norfolk.
The bride is the daughter of Mr Paul Lowe, of Hardwick, Cambridgeshire, and Mrs Jill Noble, of High Park Road, Ryde.
The bride wore a strapless champagne dress with lace overlay and a scooped neckline, featuring Swarovski crystals and a long lace train.
She wore a cathedral-length veil with a pearl headband and pearl and diamond brooch detail designed by the bride.
She carried a trailing bouquet of antique pink and cream roses, gypsophila and lavender.
She was attended by Cassandra Loe (bride’s sister) and Kate Stephenson, who wore satin A-line knee-length dresses with V-neck lace detail and traditional birdcage headdresses. They carried a woven heart entwined with flowers to complement the bride’s bouquet.
Two-year-old Ava Stephenson, who was a flower girl, wore a cream lace dress and carried a pink pearl bag.
Best man was James D’Costa (bridegroom’s cousin) and the usher was Anthony D’Costa (bridegroom’s brother).
Deputy registrar Samantha Jenner officiated.
A reception was held at Landguard Manor, Shanklin, and the honeymoon was spent in Crete.
