TWO women who met through the internet, Linda Ferguson and Sharron Jones, had a civil ceremony at Yelfs Hotel, Ryde.
Linda, Sharron’s carer, is the daughter of the late Mrs Marjorie Ferguson, of Southsea.
Sharron, who is disabled with multiple sclerosis, is the daughter of Mrs Jacqueline Keene, of Chapel Close, Gunville, and the late Mr Anthony Woolcock.
Sharron wore a satin burgundy ball gown with silver diamante features and a matching fascinator and carried a bouquet of lilies, gypsophilia and green foliage.
Linda wore a silver waistcoat, with a burgundy cravat and black trousers.
Sharron was accompanied by her son, Jamie Jones. Her other son, Perry Jones, accompanied Linda and was best man.
Registrars Janice Lord and Stacey Gough officiated.
A reception was held at Yelfs Hotel.
The couple had a two-day honeymoon at the same venue.
