A COUPLE who met at a New Year’s Eve fancy dress party, Thomas Forster and Kelly Chandler, were married at St Mary’s Church, Cowes.

The bridegroom, a production operative, is the son of John Forster, of Castle Road, Newport, and Mrs Lyn Forster, of Brocks Copse Road, Wootton.

The bride, a nursery nurse, is the daughter of Mr Robert Chandler, of Newport Road, Cowes, and Mrs Debbie Chandler, of St Mary’s Road, Cowes.

The bride wore a ivory full-length dress with a sweetheart neckline and jewel detail on the bodice. She had an ivory veil with diamante trim and a crystal tiara and carried a bouquet with a pink gerbera, daisies and white and dolce roses.

She was attended by Hannah Bridges, who wore a knee-length, strapless dress in dusky pink and carried a bouquet of white gerbras and pink roses.

She was also attended by Scarlett De’Haviland, five, who wore a baby pink floor-length dress with butterfly detail and carried a bouquet of white gerbras.

Louis Forster, six, (couple’s son) was a pageboy and wore tails with an ivory cravat. Ben Forster and Dan Forster (bridegroom’s brothers) were best men and Ryan Chandler (bride’s brother) was usher.

The Rev Richard Emblin officiated.
