Fowler-Schofield wedding
A HONEYMOON in North Devon followed the marriage of David Anthony Fowler and Sally Ann Schofield in a ceremony at the Lakeside Park Hotel, Wootton Bridge.

The bridegroom, a retail assistant, is the son of the late Mr and Mrs Henry Fowler, of Queen’s Road, Ryde.

The bride, a receptionist, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Harry Spencer, of Jameson Gardens, Totland Bay.

The bride wore an off-the-shoulder, tea-length ivory taffeta dress with crystal tiara and held a bouquet of baccara roses and ivory freesias. She was attended by Tegan Brown, who wore an ivory knee-length dress and bolero and carried a basket of burgundy and ivory fuschias, and Karen Lynch, who wore an off-the-shoulder, knee-length burgundy satin dress and held a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet.

The best man was Ken Sayer.

Gary Spencer (bride’s brother) and Paul and Richard Fowler (bridegroom’s sons) acted as ushers.

Registrar Jane Ackrill officiated.
