Gaches-Scott wedding
A COUPLE who met when the bride began playing tennis at Puckpool Park, Daniel Gaches and Helen Scott, were married at the first civil ceremony to be held at Puckpool Tea Gardens.

The bridegroom, who owns Puckpool Tea Gardens, is the son of Mr and Mrs Norman Gaches, of High Street, Ryde. The bride, a civil servant, is the daughter of Paul Scott, of Coniston Drive, Ryde, and Linda Scott, of Green Lane, Shanklin.

The bride wore a vintage white dress with a fur bolero and carried a bouquet of vintage dark red roses.

She was attended by Amanda Scott (bride’s sister), who wore a dark red dress with a white fur bolero and Isla Gaches (bridegroom’s daughter).

Deputy supt registrar Dawn McGovern officiated.

A reception was held at Puckpool Tea Gardens. The couple’s honeymoon destination has yet to be arranged.
