FOLLOWING an official ceremony at the IW Register Office, James Hawkins and Jodi Wolfe renewed their vows at a reception for friends and family.
The bridegroom, a window cleaner, is the son of Mr and Mrs Michael Hawkins, of Poole, Dorset.
The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Ivor King, of Gunville Road, Newport.
The bride wore strapless A-line gown in white satin with silver embroidery and sequin detail, a silver and diamante tiara and three-layer veil embroidered with pearls. She carried a bouquet of cream foam roses and blue silk flowers she had made herself.
She was attended by Samantha Wolfe (bride’s sister) and Holly Hutchings (bride’s daughter), 14, who wore long, navy blue Grecian-style dresses, and Maisie Hawkins (bridegroom’s daughter), eight, who wore a flower girl dress in ivory satin. They carried foam rose and diamante posies made by the bride.
The page boys were Brandon Chase (bride’s nephew), 14, Ryan Hawkins (bridegroom’s nephew), 13, Thomas Hawkins (bridegroom’s son), 11, and Callum Chase (bride’s nephew), 11, who wore black suit trousers, silver waistcoats, white wing tip collars and navy blue cravats.
The best man was Jon O’Bryan.
A reception, during which the couple renewed their vows and exchanged rings, was held at Rookley Country Park.
Deputy registrar Julia Kurt officiated at the register office and superintendent registrar Sharon Crews officiated at the reception ceremony.
