Hollis-Bagnall wedding
A COUPLE who met through a mutual interest in sailing, Richard Hollis and Ursula Bagnall, were married at St Mary’s Church, Cowes.

The bride, a solicitor, is the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Godfrey Woodbine Parish, and the bridegroom, a retired hotelier and IW councillor for Parkhurst, is the son of Mr Arthur Hollis, of Westmill, Kent, and the late Mrs Hollis.

The bride, who was given away by her son, Frank Bagnall, wore a dress of deep pink silk, a cream fascinator and carried a bouquet of cream roses with lavender, rosemary and honeysuckle.

She was attended by maid of honour Clare Carney.

Jonathan Orr-Ewing was best man and Jonathan Hollis, William Hollis and Henry Bagnall were ushers.

The Rev Richard Emblin officiated.

A reception was held at the bridegroom’s home followed by a barbecue and dance at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club.

The couple spent their honeymoon on the Isles of Scilly.
