ROBERT Irwin and Fallon Cassandra Hirst were married at St Mildred’s Church, Whippingham.
The bridegroom, a soldier, is the son of Mr and Mrs Kevin Irwin, of Old Road, East Cowes.
The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Ian Stephens, of Pellhurst Road, Ryde.
The bride wore a full-length ivory silk dupion dress embellished with lace and crystal detail and a hand-made Austrian crystal tiara. She carried a bouquet of ivory and burgundy roses, ivory tulips and ranuculas, entwined with ivy.
She was attended by Claire Jones, who carried a bouquet similar to that of the bride’s, while Alisha Wicks, Kyesha Allen (bride’s cousin) and Eva Graham (bride’s cousin) wore ivory ranuculas head dresses. All the attendants wore burgundy dresses and ivory fur boleros.
Max Graham (bride’s cousin), who wore black tails and a red bow tie and handkerchief, was pageboy.
Chris Irwin (bridegroom’s brother), was best man and Simon Cornish (bride’s cousin), Jacob Downer and Steve Jerram acted as ushers.
The Rev Jonathan Hall officiated.
A reception was held at the Ryde Castle Hotel, Ryde.
