Keyte-Lewis wedding
A COUPLE who met at a barbecue held by the bridegroom, Martin Patrick Keyte and Lisa Joanne Lewis, were married at St Blasius’s Church, Shanklin.

The bridegroom, a shop owner, is the son of Mr and Mrs Nigel Keyte, of Rectory Road, Shanklin. The bride, an administration assistant, is the daughter of Mr Stephen Lewis, of Albert Road, Shanklin, and Mrs Denise Rostron, of Prospect Road, Shanklin.

The bride wore a gold silk strapless dress with a pearl encrusted basque top, cream tulle skirt with cream tulle and lace train.

She also wore peep-toe shoes encrusted with blue diamante. Her head-dress was a short cream tulle veil secured with pearl combs and a gold tiara covered in fresh water pearls.

She carried a bouquet made up of a variety of gold, orange and cream roses.

She was attended by Chloe Bird (bridegroom’s niece), who wore an ivory silk strapless bodice and a cream tulle skirt with a cream lace overlay, Maddie Rostron (bride’s sister), who wore a cream silk strapless bodice and a cream tulle skirt with a cream lace overlay, Mickalena Corkhill (bride’s cousin), who wore a champagne coloured silk strapless bodice and a cream tulle skirt with a cream lace overlay, Layla Lewis (bride’s niece), who wore an antique gold silk bodice and a cream tulle skirt with a cream lace overlay and Freya Lewis (bride’s niece), who wore a brown silk bodice and a cream tulle skirt with a cream lace overlay. All carried an ivory satin basket with gold, orange and cream roses to match the bride’s bouquet.

Blake Seabrook (bride’s godson) was a pageboy and wore a cream shirt with a brown cravat and a brown morning suit and carried the rings on a gold pillow.

Luke Hatch was best man and Anthony Lewis (bride’s brother), Christopher Hinsley and Dom Gentleman acted as ushers.

The Rev Victor Standing officiated.

A reception was held at Rookley Country Park and will be followed by a honeymoon in the Caribbean in January.
