ISLAND woman Claire Pearce travelled half way round the world when she married marry Scott Kilvington in Australia.
The couple were married at the Carrick Hill Estate, Adelaide.
The bridegroom, an account director, is the son of Mr Nicholas Kilvington and Mrs Jennifer McGarrigan, of Adelaide.
The bride, a personal assistant, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Donald Pearce, of Rock Mount Cottages, St Lawrence, Ventnor.
The bride wore an ivory satin organza dress, with plunging neckline and crystal embellishments with a Swarovski crystal-encrusted veil and hand-made crystal side tiara. She also carried a teardrop bouquet of white roses with calla lilies.
The bride was attended by Rebecca Connor (bridegroom’s sister) and Kimberleigh Copperstone, who wore pale pink halter neck dresses and carried bouquets of pink calla lilies and white roses, together with Stella Connor (bridegroom’s niece) and Taleigha Copperstone, who wore pale pink dresses with a white chiffon overlay, finished with gold sequins.
Andrew Copperstone was best man. Austin Connor-Bailey (bridegroom’s nephew) acted as page boy.
The ceremony was conducted by Father Mark Sexton.
A reception was held at the Windy Point Restaurant, set high in the Adelaide Hills.
