Lake-White wedding
THERE was a glamorous entrance for both Charlie Lake and Hayley White, who were married at All Saints’ Church, Ryde.

The bridegroom, a mechanic, is the son of Mr and Mrs Malcolm Lake, of Egerton Road, Bembridge, and arrived in a TVR Segarus sports car.

The bride, a legal secretary, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Graham White, of Ratcliffe Avenue, Ryde, and she arrived in a white Rolls Royce.

The bride wore an ivory taffeta full-length, one-shouldered dress, with a crystal tiara securing her veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and blue delphiniums.

She was attended by Leanne Carey and Hayley Lake (bridegroom’s sister), who wore full-length ice blue dresses, and Annie Rose Littlewood (bride’s goddaughter) and Tegan Lake (bridegroom’s niece), who wore three-quarter-length ivory and ice blue dresses.

Luke Freer was best man, while Dan White (bride’s brother) and Allan Lake (bridegroom’s brother) acted as ushers.

Canon Howard Barker officiated.

A reception was held at the Ponda Rosa, Ashey, followed by a honeymoon to Mauritius.
