CHAMPION boxer Andrew Campbell Rose found the love of his life, Elyse Mary Jones, when he bought a magazine from her newsagents’ shop, in Cowes.
The couple tied the knot at Holy Trinity Church, Cowes.
The bridegroom, a bricklayer, is the son of Mrs Valetta Rose, of Benton Close, East Cowes, and the late Mr Jon Rose.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs Julie Jones, of Victoria Road, Cowes, and the late Mr Andrew Jones.
She wore a white, full length, strapless Maggie Sottero dress, with crystal beading detail and crystal clasp around the waist and a diamante tiara. She carried a bouquet of pink calla lilies, snowberry and aspidistra leaves.
She was attended by Macy Rose (couple’s daughter), Alanis Rose (bridegroom’s niece), Erin Jones (bride’s niece), Millie Venables and Ashlea Wells.
Josh Jupe was best man.
The Rev Richard Emblin officiated.
A reception at Cowes Corinthian Yacht Club followed.
The couple went to Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, for their honeymoon.
